Farrukh meaning
Farrukh (فرخ) is a Muslim boy's name of Persian origin.
Beautiful-faced; happy, fortunate
Also used to mean: blessed
Farrukh (فرخ) is a Persian name. Steingass's dictionary explains farrukh as a shortened far-rukh and defines it as beautiful-faced, happy and fortunate; it was also the name of one of the five extra days added at the end of the Persian year. Name lists give "fortunate", "happy" or "blessed", which match the dictionary. In India the name recalls the Mughal emperor Farrukhsiyar (1685–1719), whose name begins with it. It should not be confused with Arabic farkh, written the same way, which means the young of a bird or animal.
