Fasih meaning
Fasih (فصیح) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Eloquent; pure and correct in speech; literally, milk cleared of froth
Also used to mean: fluent speaker
Fasih (فصیح) is Arabic faṣīḥ, from the root f-ṣ-ḥ. Lane's lexicon first applies the word to milk that has been cleared of its froth, and then, by extension, to speech that is pure and free of faults: a word, a style, or a speaker or writer that is clear and correct. Steingass gives the Persian and Urdu sense as eloquent, rhetorical, accurate and lucid. Name lists give "eloquent", which matches the dictionaries. The related noun faṣāḥat means eloquence, and the name is also used in the longer form Fasihuddin.
