Gulrukh meaning
Gulrukh (گل رخ) is a Muslim girl's name of Persian origin (Urdu usage).
Rosy-cheeked
Also used to mean: rose-faced
Gulrukh (گل رخ) joins Persian gul, "rose", with rukh, "cheek" or "face". Steingass and Platts both define gul-rukh as rosy-cheeked, and Platts gives the longer form gul-rukhsār with the same meaning. Name lists give "rose-faced" or "rosy-cheeked", in line with the dictionaries. In Persian and Urdu poetry it is a familiar way to praise a beautiful face, and the name was borne by several women of the early Mughal family.
