Hariharasudhan meaning
Hariharasudhan (ஹரிஹரசுதன்) is a Tamil boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Tamil usage).
Son of Harihara (Vishnu and Shiva together): a name of Ayyappan
Also used to mean: Lord Ayyappa
Hariharasudhan (ஹரிஹரசுதன்) means "son of Harihara". Monier-Williams gives harihara as Vishnu and Shiva joined in one form, and suta as a son. The name belongs to Ayyappan, the god of Sabarimala, who in the popular legend is the son of Shiva and of Vishnu in his female form Mohini, and so is called Hariharaputra or Hariharasudhan. The Tamil Lexicon likewise glosses Ayyanar as the son of Hari and Hara. Families devoted to Sabarimala, especially in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, give the name to sons.
