Kausar meaning
Kausar (کوثر) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage), also used for boys.
Abounding in good; al-Kawthar, a river in Paradise
Also used to mean: abundance
Kausar (کوثر) is the Arabic kawthar, from the root k-th-r, "to be much or abundant". Lane's lexicon explains it as a man abounding in good, as a river, and above all as al-Kawthar, a river in Paradise granted specially to the Prophet and described as whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. The word opens Surah al-Kawthar (108:1), the shortest surah of the Quran: "We have given you al-Kawthar." In India and Pakistan Kausar is used mostly for girls, while elsewhere it is also a boy's name. Name lists give it as "abundance" or "a river in Paradise", in line with the dictionary.
