Sabika meaning
Sabika (سبیکہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
An ingot; a bar of gold or silver melted, refined and cast in a mould
Also used to mean: piece of gold, silver ingot
Sabika (سبیکہ) is the Arabic sabīka, from the root s-b-k, "to melt and cast metal". Lane's lexicon defines it as an ingot: an oblong piece of gold or silver that has been melted, cleared of its dross and poured into a mould. A desert Arab, Lane notes, once compared a smooth, hard mountain to an ingot. For Shia families the name recalls Sabika, the mother of Muhammad al-Jawad, the ninth Shia Imam. Name lists give Sabika as "piece of gold" or "silver ingot".
