Parthasarathy meaning
Parthasarathy (பார்த்தசாரதி) is a Tamil and Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Tamil usage).
Krishna as the charioteer of Partha (Arjuna)
Parthasarathy (பார்த்தசாரதி) joins Pārtha, "son of Pṛthā", a name of Arjuna, with sārathi, "charioteer". Monier-Williams and the Tamil Lexicon both record it as Krishna, who drove Arjuna's chariot in the Mahabharata war and spoke the Bhagavad Gita from it. In Tamil Nadu the name is closely tied to the Parthasarathy temple at Triplicane in Chennai, one of the 108 Divya Desams, where Krishna is worshipped as Parthasarathy. It is a traditional Vaishnava name, often shortened to Partha or Sarathy.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Krishna.
