Rajasekhar meaning
Rajasekhar (राजशेखर) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, रा, it is a Tula rashi name (Chitra nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Crown of kings; name of the 10th-century poet Rājaśekhara
Also used to mean: best of kings
Rajasekhar (राजशेखर) is Sanskrit rāja-śekhara, joining rāja, "king", with śekhara, "crest, diadem, crown", a word also used for the very best of anything. So the name means "crown among kings". Monier-Williams records it as the name of several authors, chief among them Rājaśekhara, the tenth-century court poet of Kannauj who wrote the Prakrit play Karpūramañjarī and the Kāvyamīmāṃsā. The name is used in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu; Rajshekhar is the northern spelling.
