Shatarupa meaning
Shatarupa (शतरूपा) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Bengali usage).
'having a hundred forms'; the first woman, Brahmā's daughter, Manu's wife
Also used to mean: one with a hundred forms
Shatarupa (शतरूपा) is the Sanskrit śatarūpā, from śata, "a hundred", and rūpa, "form, beauty", so "she of a hundred forms". In Hindu cosmology she is the first woman: Monier-Williams records Śatarūpā as the daughter of Brahmā and notes that some Purāṇas make her the wife of Svāyambhuva Manu, the first man, rather than his mother. Through Manu she is the ancestor of humankind; their children include Priyavrata and Uttānapāda. Name lists give "one with a hundred forms", the literal sense. The name is especially used in Bengal and Odisha, where it is usually spelled Satarupa.
