Shrenik meaning
Shrenik (श्रेणिक) is a Jain boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Jain usage).
Name of a king (identified with Bimbisāra); also a front tooth
Shrenik (श्रेणिक, Gujarati શ્રેણિક) is the Jain name of King Śreṇika of Magadha, the ruler known in Buddhist texts as Bimbisāra. Monier-Williams records śreṇika as the name of this king, citing Hemacandra's Jain work, the Pariśiṣṭaparvan, and also notes a lexicographers' sense, "a front tooth". In Jain tradition the king became a devotee of Jainism, often visited Mahavira's assemblies to put questions to him, and is expected to be reborn as Padmanābha, also called Mahāpadma, the first Tirthankara of the coming cosmic age. The name is chosen mainly by Jain families, including Gujarati Jains; the Ahmedabad industrialist Shrenik Kasturbhai Lalbhai is a well-known bearer.
