Srijan meaning
Srijan (सृजन) is a Hindu boy's name of Hindi origin (from Sanskrit).
Creating, making, forming, producing
Also used to mean: creation
Srijan (सृजन) comes from the Sanskrit root sṛj, "to create, to send forth". Platts' dictionary of classical Hindi gives sṛijan as creating, making, forming and producing, with related words for a maker or creator. In Sanskrit, Monier-Williams treats sṛjana as a variant of sarjana, which among other senses means the act of creating, creation. Name lists give Srijan as "creation", matching the dictionary. In modern Hindi sṛjan is a common word for creative work, which gives the name an artistic feel. In Telugu, Kannada and Odia the same word is usually spelt Srujan.
