Sumukh meaning
Sumukh (सुमुख) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Fair-faced, handsome; cheerful; gracious; a name of Śiva and of Gaṇeśa
Also used to mean: beautiful face, lord ganesha
Sumukh (सुमुख) is Sanskrit su-mukha, from su, "beautiful, good", and mukha, "face". Monier-Williams gives it as fair-faced or handsome, as bright-faced and cheerful, and as gracious or favourable, and records it as a name of Shiva in the Mahabharata, of Ganesha, and of a son of Garuḍa. Sumukha is the first of Ganesha's twelve names in the well-known prayer that begins sumukhaś caikadantaś ca, recited before starting new work. Name lists give Sumukh as "beautiful face" or "Lord Ganesha", matching the dictionary.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Ganesha.
