Tabinda (تابندہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Persian origin.
Shining, resplendent, luminous
Also used to mean: radiant, bright
Tabinda (تابندہ) is the Persian tābanda, "shining", which Urdu says as tābinda. It is the present participle of tābīdan, "to shine". Steingass's Persian dictionary gives tabanda as shining or resplendent, and tābandagī, the noun formed from the same word, as lustre or luminousness; the related tābish means brilliance. In Urdu poetry tābinda describes a bright star or a radiant face. Name lists give Tabinda as "shining" or "radiant", in line with the dictionary.
