Tahseen meaning
Tahseen (تحسین) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Making good or beautiful; approval, applause, praise
Also used to mean: beautification, improvement
Tahseen (تحسین) is the Arabic taḥsīn, the verbal noun of ḥassana, "to make good or beautiful", from ḥusn, "beauty, goodness". Steingass gives taḥsīn as doing well and handsomely, making something good or pleasing, and approval or applause; taḥsīn kardan is to approve or applaud. Lane's lexicon records a specialised sense, careful and regular handwriting. Name lists give "beautification", "improvement" and "praise". The same root gives the names Hasan and Husain.
