Eliam meaning
Eliam is an international and Christian boy's name of Hebrew origin.
God of the people; or "God is kinsman"
Also used to mean: God's people
Eliam is a Hebrew name from the Bible, Eliʿam, made of El, "God", and ʿam, "people" or "kin". Strong's Concordance translates it "God of the people", while the Brown-Driver-Briggs lexicon reads it as "God is kinsman". Two men bear it in the Second Book of Samuel: the father of Bathsheba, who became the wife of King David and mother of Solomon, and Eliam son of Ahithophel, one of David's thirty chosen warriors; some scholars think they are the same man. The name is short and soft, and it is said el-ee-AHM or EL-ee-um.
