Kamaluddin meaning
Kamaluddin (کمال الدین) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Perfection of the faith
Kamaluddin (کمال الدین) joins two Arabic words. Kamāl, which Platts's Urdu dictionary defines as completion, perfection and excellence, comes from the root k-m-l, "to be complete". Dīn, in Lane's lexicon, means obedience, and religion, especially the religion of Islam. Together the name means "perfection of the faith", one of many honorific names ending in -uddin that became personal names across the Muslim world. A famous bearer was Kamal ud-Din Behzad, the Persian painter who directed the royal workshops of Herat and Tabriz around 1500.
