Sanskar meaning
Sanskar (संस्कार) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Perfecting, refinement; purification; training of the mind; a sacrament
Also used to mean: good values
Sanskar (संस्कार) is Sanskrit saṃskāra, from sam-kṛ, "to put together, perfect". Monier-Williams gives a long list: forming well or making perfect, embellishment, purification, preparation, training of the mind or education, and the consecrating rites of Hindu life, the saṃskāras, from birth to the last rites. In philosophy it is the impression left on the mind by past experience. In Hindi sanskar means upbringing and good values, and name lists give "refinement" or "values", a fair reading of the dictionary.
