Tamim meaning
Tamim (تمیم) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Strong, firm; complete and perfect in make
Tamim (تمیم) is the Arabic tamīm, from the root t-m-m, "to be complete", which also gives tamām, "completeness". Lane's lexicon defines tamīm as strong, firm or hard, or complete and perfect in make and strong, used of a man or a horse, and also as tall. Name lists give "perfect", "complete" and "strong". Tamim was the name of a great Arab tribe, the Banu Tamim, and of Tamim al-Dari, a Christian of Palestine who became a Companion of the Prophet.
