Nasih meaning
Nasih (ناصح) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
One who advises sincerely and faithfully
Also used to mean: adviser, counsellor
Nasih (ناصح) is the Arabic nāṣiḥ, from naṣaḥa, "to give sincere advice". Lane's lexicon defines it as one who advises or counsels sincerely, honestly or faithfully, who directs another towards what is good for him by words or otherwise, and who acts with sincerity himself. The same root gives naṣīḥa, "sincere counsel", which a well-known hadith calls the essence of religion. In the Quran the prophet Hud tells his people, "I am a trustworthy adviser to you" (7:68). Name lists give Nasih as "adviser" or "giver of good counsel".
