Vidita meaning
Vidita (विदिता) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Known, understood, learnt; also the name of a Jain goddess
Also used to mean: well-known, learned
Vidita (विदिता) is the feminine of Sanskrit vidita, "known, understood, learnt", the past participle of vid, "to know". Monier-Williams also records vidita as a learned man or sage, and Viditā as the name of a goddess in Jain tradition. Name lists give "well-known" or "learned", which follow from the dictionary sense. Vidit is the boys' form, and both are used mainly in Maharashtra and Gujarat.
